Color is the Answer: The Top 3 and the Bottom 3

Since OPI is all about iconic color, Challenge 3 asked the Top 6 to create a wearable nail look using as many OPI colors as possible. The winner of this challenge receives a $500 spa gift card to relax and unwind!

In alphabetical order, the Top 3 are:

Deanna: The judges agree that your bugs are beautiful! Your pro tip about the sponge technique was also welcome. Just be careful when mixing products to create your own hybrid system.

Julie: The top coat effect really took this complex design to the next level! The judges loved that you mixed your own colors and made this kaleidoscope pop with brilliant outlining.

Melisa: You captured the theme of this challenge on the tops AND undersides of your nails! Be careful to keep your sculpts thinner so that added texture and underside art don’t make your nails look too bulky.

Unfortunately, there always has to be a bottom group. The bottom 3, in alphabetical order, are:

Carly: The judges were torn on your contrasting set. However, they can all agree that your hand-painting was masterful.

Emily: Your pro tip on prepping gel dots for the salon was on-point. The placement of your dots, however, made your design look bulky. Different sized dots or mixing up the placement may have helped with this.

Trisha: The eye of the tiger was strong in your look. The judges would have preferred to see more of this skilled painting in place of the dotting. Gorgeous ombres too!
